At ASL, we’re searching for solutions to our energy and national security needs. The work we do today will produce products and applications that support our national interests while creating jobs and drawing new actors into the region’s economy.

Research facilities grow sturdy roots in communities. Our investments in physical sciences and advanced technology will birth products and drive economic growth in the Pacific Northwest.

We are:

* Within its first five years, ASL is expected to generate $3-5 million dollars of grant- and contract-based revenue per year. Every $1 million will produce between six and eight new hires and, by economists’ estimates, another 2.15 indirect jobs. Those numbers are expected to double by the 10-year mark.
