Advanced Materials

Currently, our materials processing efforts are focused on the design and development of metallic alloys.

We can make alloys from almost all the practical metals of the periodic table. Because processing is carried out under inert atmosphere or in a vacuum, we can readily process alloys of such reactive metals as titanium and Zirconium. Specialized casting equipment allows us to process bulk metallic glasses (BMG) into various rods and composite forms for laboratory test samples. We are able to produce alloy samples of 1 gram to 500 grams in a single batch.
