As the complexity of advanced-materials research grows, researchers must be able to integrate expertise from a broad range of disciplines. 

To meet that need, our in-house processing capabilities foster intimate interaction among researchers from multiple disciplines. A single project may draw on the resources of chemists, materials and mechanical scientists, and computer scientists.

Using this approach, we aim to:

• Improve processing methods by buildings understanding between processing-microstructure and processing-property relationships.
• Develop novel processing methods for the discovery and development of new advanced materials and apply them to divers technological challenges and client-specific applications.
